We are looking for a Data Engineer to help our clients and our own products make better decisions with data. You will design and build the pipelines, data models and dashboards behind our projects, working closely with engineers, designers and business stakeholders.

- Design, build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Model and manage data warehouses and data marts for analytics and reporting
- Integrate data from applications, databases, APIs and third-party services
- Build KPI dashboards and automated reports together with product and business teams
- Monitor data quality, pipeline health and performance, and fix issues quickly
- Apply data governance, security and privacy practices to everything you build

- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, back-end or a similar role
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience programming in Python (or a similar language) for data processing
- Experience with data modelling and building ETL/ELT pipelines
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure)
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain data to non-technical people

- Experience with orchestration and transformation tools such as Airflow or dbt
- Experience with BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake or a similar data warehouse
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker Studio, Metabase or Power BI
- Knowledge of streaming tools such as Kafka or Pub/Sub
- Understanding of data privacy principles (e.g. GDPR) and ISO/IEC 27001
